“ Cheong fun with peanut sauce was surprisingly good with nice taste profile balance between the savory from soy sauce, sweetness from sweet sauce, nutty from peanut sauce, sprinkle with refillable sesame seeds on the table. Fish Siumai tastes like any other fish processed snacks. 艇仔粥 was served at a right portion for light breakfast. Ver clean taste :) ”
“ A must try is their rice noodle rolls (腸粉)! Second and third to that are their congee (粥) and steamed Teochew dumplings (粉果). Tried their siu mai which I wasn't really keen with. The first three food items mentioned were absolutely awesome. Full of flavours but texture-wise is all silky which might not be everyone's choice. Portion size is fairly big so make sure you share! Reasonable price too. Service is good. Just be prepared to share tables with strangers as well as shouting out what you want to the lady staff as that is how orders are taken. ”
“ This is hands down one of my favourite places to eat in Hong Kong. I’ve been eating here since I was a child and still come back regularly as an adult! Places like these are hard to come by nowadays, and the quality is just so consistent - please come experience classic HK food and support a local business! I see lots of reviews that talk about the service. Here, you must be prepared for some good old Hong Kong service where they might not be the warmest, but they mean well and the food is so worth it! Top tip: If you’re not fussed about sitting down to eat, line up to takeaway and tell them you’d like to eat here (you can stand in the alleyway to enjoy!). If you want to sit in, go in and find whatever seat is open, and tell service staff ASAP what you want - they might not write it down but they remember and will place the order for you! ”
“ Cheap, delicious, and sure to fill you up! If you love rice rolls, you must check out this spot! This was my favorite street food snack! I came here for the Chee Cheong Fun, which is topped with peanut sauce, hoisin sauce, and hot sauce. It's a simple and plain dish, but is so delicious. We went with the 6 pieces and it was easily shareable and a good amount of rice rolls. There was a short queue that slowly increased as we waited, but they were quick in getting everyone's order done. Many people got takeout, which is gets packed in to-go bags, but we got it in a plate and just stood by the corner to eat. follow @food.vince on instagram for more travel eats! ”
“ The place is quite small, crowded, yet it is clean. The perfect hong kong street food ambience. The rice noodles is rich with flavours. Soy drink is fresh. Definitely one of the best food i had in hong kong. ”
